On the afternoon of June 16, The First Affiliated Hospital of University of South China successfully completed Hunan’s first two-field IORT procedure for an ascending colon tumor.

Treatment field 1 — prescribed dose: 12 Gy; energy: 6 MeV; field diameter: 50 mm; bolus thickness: 1 cm; beam-on time: 2.46 minutes.

Treatment field 2 — prescribed dose: 10 Gy; energy: 6 MeV; field diameter: 50 mm; bolus thickness: 1 cm; beam-on time: 2.51 minutes.
